Polyethylene foam expansion/isolation joint material

X-Tech® is a construction grade polyethylene foam expansion joint filler material. It is used in lieu of asphalt impregnated fiberboard material when no sealant or cold applied sealants are specified. X-Tech® also meets or exceeds ASTM D-4819-88.

Polyethylene Backer Rod

Polyethylene Backer Rod is most commonly used as a commercial building wall expansion joint filler. Another common use is in the residential market to fill a joint that has spread or (in the case of the old fiberboard material) rotted. Once the rod is put into place, a flexible caulk can be applied.
