Most people eventually figure this one out after a few months of nailing X-Tech® onto concrete.

I've found (the same way everyone else has) that this material only needs a couple of sharp "raps" with a hammer every 8"-12" to stay in place. Those of us that know this to be true found out when we missed.

* This does not work on wood, painted, or wet surfaces. For wood and vinyl siding and brick, I prefer using a spray adhesive.
