Quick Tips for X-Tech™

X-Tech™

I have contractors that use the X-Tech™ to form cantelevers for their step forms. They either nail to the forms or use spray adhesive for half rounds.

Some contractors first using this type of material will find that edging against X-Tech™ is a timing issue. I have found that an early pass will make all the difference in the world!

Quick Tips for The Bean ™

The Bean™

I have used The Bean™ Oil as a convenient eco-friendly bond breaker when placing concrete around vinyl siding and for bulkheads and stair treads for easy clean up

Pervious Tip

Spray THE BEAN® on the edge of freshly stripped pervious before placing against it. Before spraying, carefully fold the plastic back only exposing 2” of the fresh slab surface.Spray the edge and plastic at the same time. We are adding necessary moisture w/some protection at the edge and lubricating the plastic to roll the Bunyan Striker. This method has cut back on our construction joint raveling issues and allows us to run the striker without marking the new pervious or rolling up the plastic!

Quick Tips for The Jelly Bean ®

When spraying The Jealy Bean® or any other product, sprayers and workers do what they do, errant drips of colored product and overspray appear where they shouldn’t be. To fix this we keep a bucket of water and rag handy. Simply wet and wipe the surface and your done!
